DownloadCASA GRANDE - April 5, 2018 - ASU Now - Casa Grande Ruins - The Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, 35 miles south of Phoenix, features many ruins, including the Big House, protected beneath a metal shelter. Anthropology doctoral candidate Chris Caseldine was the project director for the 2016 ASU Non-Collection Archaeological Survey at the site, noting the location and characteristics of surface shards in sample areas throughout the square-mile protected park, that was inhabited in various stages from around 500 AD through 1450.
