Graduating fourth-year Maya Sarraf will be speaking about her passion, “Disabilities in Comics,” on April 10, at the West Valley campus. She plans to focus the talk on the public’s stereotypes or lack of awareness of disabilities and the effect it has on those affected. Sarraf is completing a double major in neuroscience and forensic psychology and a minor in disability studies while dealing with her disabilities of ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and dyslexia.
