U.S. Army ROTC cadets start off the first ASU ROTC Battle of Mogadishu Run on the north end of Mountain America Stadium in Tempe on Oct. 4, 2023. The 3.2 mile run, which commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Battle of Mogadishu, led cadets around campus where each squad faced physical challenges including 300 pushups, 500 squats and carrying over 100lbs of additional weight throughout the course.
