MESA - November 14, 2019 - ASU Now - CHS Sports Science - Chicago Cubs strength and conditioning intern Layne Gainer spots infielder Fidel Mejia as he pumps a pair of 75-lb. dumbbells at the Cubs spring training facility in Mesa, Thursday, November 14, 2019. The team currently has 36 young players on site for a five-week conditioning camp. Gainer is a senior in Exercise and Wellness, with an emphasis on sports performance, through the College of Health Solutions.
