Julie Cart, reporter with the Los Angeles Times and alumn of the journalism program at Arizona State University, spoke to students at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU's Downtown Phoenix Campus on September 28th. Ms. Cart, along with Times reporter Betina Boxall won the Pulizter Prize in 2009 for explanatory reporting for their five part series, "The Big Burn", which explored in depth the cost and effectiveness of attempts to combat the growing menace of wildfires across the western United States
