TEMPE - January 15, 2020 - ASU Now - AZ DEMA Drone - Assistant Professor Stephanie Gil introduces a drone simulation in the ASU Drone Studio, on the Tempe campus, Wednesday, January 15, 2020. She is in the Computer Science department of the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering (CIDSE) and directs the REACT Lab (Robotics, Embedded Autonomy, and Communication Theory Lab). The Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) is holding its quarterly Search-and-Rescue meeting at ASU to enable representatives from various search-and-rescue departments from around the state to collaborate with engineering students on their drone and remote-controlled technological developments.
