Human systems engineering associate Professor Rob Gray has a new book, “How We Learn to Move: A Revolution in the Way We Coach & Practice Sports Skills,” based on his research that looks to change the way children learn sports from endless drills and repetition and moves toward self-organization. Coaches should create a practice environment where young athletes learn to figure out what works best for themselves.
