Approximately 17,000 solar panels are installed in the south parking lots and surrounding areas at the West Campus in Phoenix on Aug. 30, 2010. The project, which started in April and is expected to be completed by February, will provide 4.65 megawatts of power when completed, according to Bonny Bentzin, director of University Sustainability Practices.
